Each Ultra bay can dispatch up to 100-120 vehicles per hour with little or no waiting time (average at Heathrow Pod is around 30 seconds), meaning small stations can handle large numbers of people.
Approved by disability groups, the stations always offer at least minimal shelter above the bays and may be located underground, overhead, or at ground level, both in- and outdoors.
Lightweight and quick to set up, individual sections can be fabricated off-site, minimizing assembly time and cost. With no mechanical elements or power systems, guideways require little maintenance.
The remarkable flexibility of Ultra’s guideways enable low-cost and aesthetically-pleasing designs to be built, as well as offering a broad range of customisation options to suit the needs of the surrounding environment and the system’s practical application.
Download the PDF below for detailed information on guideway design and customisation options.
